This policy is intended to ensure that every registered guest enjoys the park to the fullest.
Each site includes Electricity/Water/Sewer/Trash (excluding tent camping). Cable and Wi-Fi are not provided.
__ Quiet hours from 10PM – 8AM
__ Speed limit of 5 MHP. Posted speed limit must always be obeyed. Vehicles must stay on the roads, no cutting through open campsites.
__Pets are not permitted in restrooms or swimming pool areas. You must pick up after your pets immediately (subject to $250 fine). Pets must be always kept on a leash. No pet may be left outside caged, chained or tethered without the owner being present. Please show consideration for your neighbors by addressing any persistent barking from your dog. Take appropriate measures to minimize the disturbance caused by barking, especially while you are away.
__Your campsite must always be kept clean and free of trash.
__Place all TRASH in the dumpster located in front of the industrial building. Do not dump anything in the woods.
__No cutting, moving or removing any plants, rocks, fungi or other specimens from the campground property. The same applies for Kenlake State Park.
___ Feeding wild animals including racoons and wild cats is prohibited. No killing of wild animals, including snakes.
__Swimming pool – Enter at your own risk. Each person must obey rules posted at the entrance while using the swimming pool area. No children under 18 years old allowed in pool area unsupervised. Absolutely no GLASS and NO smoking. NO Lifeguard on duty. The swimming pool area needs to be kept clean. When leaving, make sure you put away all toys and floaties. Please report any incidents immediately to 270.474.2778
***Visitors and Non-Registered Guests - Registered guests are expected to inform their visitors of all park policies and rules. Registered guests are also responsible for visitors’ compliance with rules while on park property. Guests are not permitted at the swimming pool area without a registered guest present.
___ Vehicles must be parked in designated areas only. There is absolutely no parking at other campsites at any time, for any reason.
___ Only two vehicles are permitted per site and/or trailer with watercraft, ATV and a golf cart. No trailers with business equipment. No excessive engine noise anytime. Do not leave your vehicle running for long periods of time, be mindful of others!
___ Fireworks and water balloons are prohibited.
___Campfires must be contained in authorized burning containers or fire rings. Nails, glass, plastic are not permitted in the fire. Fires are not to be left unattended.
___ Valid recreational vehicle insurance is required.
__Please help keep our campground clean. To keep racoons away, do not leave any trash or food out overnight.
__Management Reserves the right to refuse accommodation for any RV/Camper based on its appearance and/or condition.
__We reserve the right to evict without prior notice to anyone who violates our guidelines. We will evict anyone publicly intoxicated or under influence of drugs, violating RV park rules, destroying property, or creating a disturbance. NO REFUNDS.
I understand the rules and rental conditions upon which I am renting accommodations, equipment and using the rest of the associated property … lodging and camping and use of the swimming/bathing facilities. The sole responsibility for my safety lies with me. In agreeing to this, I acknowledge that outdoor and water activities and exposure to the natural elements and animals can be dangerous and sometimes result in injury and even death. Water facilities contain inherent risks, animals and insects can threaten and infect or injure, exposure to the elements can cause hypothermia, sunburn, among other risks inherent in participating in camping, outdoor and water activities. Alcohol and/or drugs do not mix safely with any outdoor activity.
I certify that I am over the age of 18 (and assume responsibility for those in my charge under the age of 18). I hereby assume all legal responsibility for bodily injury to myself or any other person and property as a result of my visit to Tanglewood Campground and use, operation or possession of equipment hired or loaned to me. Acknowledging this, I accept complete responsibility for myself and the minor children in my charge and visit Tanglewood Campground and engage in activities or events at Tanglewood Campground at my own risk.
I understand and agree that Tanglewood Campground is not responsible for losses or injuries due to fire, failure of any utility, theft, or accident for any reason whatsoever. TC is not responsible for damage caused by storms or falling trees/ limbs. Tanglewood Campground strongly recommends that I carry my own health, medical, and property insurance.
Access to park property is granted only upon completion of the registration process. The guest, by booking a reservation, acknowledges and agrees on behalf of his/her entire party to abide by all park rules and regulations.
